Fender introduced the colour Olympic White in 1958. This colour is one of the most-sought after Fender finishes of all time. In 1964, the year this guitar was manufactured, Fender already had grown into a very succesful company with more than 600 employees, who manufactured about 1500 guitars a week! The Stratocaster was by far the most successful guitar model of the company – and continues to be up to the present day.
